A clear glass pig figurine lit by a warm torch flame

Handmade lampwork glass · Zhejiang, China

Born in a 1500°C flame,
made to be kept

Handmade lampwork glass keepsakes, shaped one at a time over an open flame. No moulds, no production line — which is why no two pieces are ever quite the same.

  • Every piece made by hand
  • Borosilicate glass
  • Made in our own workshop

Made by hand, not moulded

Every shape is formed over an open flame, held and turned by hand.

No two are alike

Even within one design, the small differences come for free.

Borosilicate glass

Clear, tolerant of temperature change, and stable for everyday display.

The Craft

A glass rod, a pair of hands, one flame

Lampwork doesn’t use moulds. A rod of glass softens in the flame, then is drawn, wrapped, pressed and gathered again by hand — and by gravity. Making one small animal means heating it a dozen times or more.

How it works

Commission a piece

From the first message to a parcel at your door — four steps.

  1. 01

    Tell us about it

What it’s for, how many you need, and the colours and shapes you like. Reference images are the most useful thing you can send.

  2. 02

    We plan it together

We confirm the design, colours and details. For larger orders, we make a single sample first.

  3. 03

    Made in the flame

Each piece is made by hand, and we keep you posted along the way. Glass has to cool and settle slowly — this part can’t be rushed.

  4. 04

    Packed and shipped

Wrapped piece by piece, boxed, then shipped. With glass, packaging is not where we cut corners.

The Material

About the material, just the facts

Borosilicate glass. The same family of glass used for heat-resistant kitchenware: clear, and comfortable with temperature change. Handmade pieces carry tiny bubbles and soft swirls inside — those are marks left by the flame, not defects.

One thing we’ll say plainly: glass still doesn’t like being knocked. Keep it from drops and heavy weight, and clean it with a soft, dry cloth.
